Welcome Remarks

Dear Colleagues,

Welcome to the inaugural International Pediatric Critical Care Conference, hosted by Sheikh Khalifa Hospital, Fujairah. As a recognized center for trauma, burn care, and rehabilitation, we are honored to bring this critical conversation to the forefront of medicine.

Our theme, “Beyond Survival: Advancing Pediatric Critical Care in Trauma, Burns, and Rehabilitation” challenges us to look past immediate clinical success toward our ultimate goal: restoring a child's future. It represents a deep commitment to not only saving a life but ensuring that life is lived to its fullest potential.

Here in Fujairah, from 6-7 December 2025, we will unite leading clinicians and researchers to share groundbreaking practices and debate new innovations. Through practical workshops and candid discussions, we will build the multidisciplinary strategies needed to improve long-term outcomes for our most vulnerable patients.

Thank you for joining this vital work. Your expertise and collaboration are essential as we push the boundaries of what is possible in pediatric care. Thank you for joining us on this important journey, where every session, every conversation, and every connection moves us closer to a shared vision: Saving Lives, Restoring Futures.
